In fall of 2025, the town was no longer welcoming to bikes. I was told this was due to an incident that had happened earlier that year. They were no longer allowing bikes to use the showers or laundry. You can still use the nearby lock for primitive camping, but you may have a hard time using the showers/laundry at the port.
