solo biker from new holland pa on 2/11/2026 1:49:00 PM:
i would like to ride the erie canal trial the first weekend in May. will i be able to sleeo at the biker -hiker campsites. Some of the sites say open in May but do not give a date. I just need a place to lay down and a port o potty.

Check out the NY Canal site. Most of the canal locks you can camp but you need to call before arriving. Most have tables and porta potties
