We have a group of five riding the trail in a few weeks and will have four tents. We are planning on camping at locks along the way, I noticed the locks are listed as first come first serve and limited to four tents. If we arrive at a lock and there are other campers will we be turned away or will they allow our group?

I have seen on the NYS State Canal site its first come, but you should call the lock operator first. The Numbers are posted on their site
