Good morning! In order to change pace and avoid driving to Rochester area, I would like to take the train from Schenectady. I realize that I will need a reservation. However, will I have to pack my bike in a box or are there racks upon which one can hang one's bike? Any adive would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No need to box the bike if you can get an available reservation with "rack" on a given train. A rack may be within a passenger car or it may be a separate baggage car. Either way -- just racking the bike.

Many thanks for the help! I hope to go to Rochester the week of the 30th. Just need to reserve spot on the train!
