Hi folks! Casual/weekend riders looking to learn about your favorite sections of the canalway where we can bike 20-30 miles a day between nice lodgings with great food. :) Three to five days of biking would be perfect. Thanks so much in advance!

5 days, 100 miles, I'd do something like Lockport to Newark.

That stretch would be mostly along the canal, going through great little old canal towns. Nice canalside parks, operating lift bridges, old locks, the big stone cut. Plenty of good local places to eat.
