Yes you'll get a nice feeling for the Canalway. Along the riverfront up to N. Tonawanda and pick up the Canal... new section up to Lockport see the Locks there [also things to do] Then you'll leave pavement and follow the Barge Canal through smaller towns, more locks as you bike through more rural areas and then into Rochester-- a nice destination. Lots to do in ROC and consider going to Pittsford before ending. If Ice Cream is a reward... definitely hit Pittsford Dairy Farm a block north of the trail. Enjoy.
